The large, perimeter-weighted head features a new cavity shape for Nickent. This design positions the center of gravity away from the face for increased forgiveness on off center hits. The moderate offset promotes right to left ball flight without sacrificing shot-making flexibility. Weight was saved from the face and redistributed into one tungsten-polymer fused insert on the back of the clubhead. This XW Insert is located directly behind the face to absorb vibration from impact, reducing a majority of the shock and harsh feel associated with irons that use hard plugs or screws to lower the center of gravity. Discretionary weight was moved into the weight plugs from the face, creating a high C.O.R. to promote faster ball speed and more power.
