Phil Mickelson features on position 45 of the annual Forbes list of the 100 most powerful celebrities in movies, television, sports and publishing (down nine spots from the 2009 edition). While we think that it is good to see that the people at Forbes share our admiration for Lefty, Terry Domingo doesn't need a magazine to tell him what a great man Phil Mickelson is.
Forbes taps you as being #45 in the world’s – yes, world – top celebrities, it really means more than just another celebrity poll. It means you are influential to people, like us, the general public, because of your professionalism, success, and most importantly your genuine positive influence in being a role model for kids to look up to.

Oh wait, I’m not talking about Forbes – I’m just talking about Phil. Who needs a magazine to tell us what we already know about the man who we admire? Especially when they still continue to support others on their list – shall we say spots #5 (Tiger Woods), #14 (Kobe Bryant), #20 (Michael Jordan) and #26 (Jennifer Aniston) – whom are either liars and cheaters or just insignificant “actors” (and I use that term loosely when referring to #26).
I don’t have to have a magazine to tell me how special Phil is or how his positive influence has affected so many charities and people around the world. I say we start our own list – the Phil Top 1 –guess who is #1 then?!
