Monday Finish at US Open - Mickelson only five shots back

For the first time since 1983, a US Open will end in regulation on Monday.
Play at Bethpage Black had to be suspended several times due to continuous rainfall and the leaders did only manage to finish a single hole in their final round when darkness settled on Sunday evening.
Phil Mickelson stormed into contention with four birdies in the last six holes of his third round. He has played two holes (both of them in PAR) in his final round and lies in third place only five shots behind the leaders Ricky Barnes and Lucas Glover.

Given the inexperience of the leaders in comparable situations, Phil should have a reasonable chance to capture his first US Open title on Monday. Tiger Woods has played seven holes in his fourth round and is -1 for the day and even par for the championship. Play will be continued at 9 am EST, leaving enough time for an 18-hole play-off (if required and weather permitting).

Our whole family - several of whom are very good golfers (not me) - respects and admires and cheers for you constantly - we refer to you as “Cousin Phil” and like to think we might be related. this is a message for Phil and Amy…We know that Phil you have wonderful doctors for Amy, but on MSNBC tonight via internet we hear about special test study which is showing true promise for epecially Breast Cancer…Ovarian Cancer and Prostate Cancer..
They have discovered a genetic mutation in some individuals called
BRCA 1 and 2…By using a medication PARP Inhibitors signs of cancer are eliminated…There have been only 60 test individuals but there is great promise…There are also limited side effects, no hair loss, limited sick to the stomach, etc…
It might be a good question to your doctors…Only thought of Amy and you Phil when we saw the News..God Bless We love you…Mr. Possible, Mr. 59..
