I had a double mastecomy & was apparently a few days pregnant at the time of surgery & the doctors didn't know it. I am fine, my daughter is AWESOME! I have 2 older children, Amy 25 & Peter 20. Peter is a huge fan & called me to tell me Phil was in the final & I should email him because I am doing a 6 month breast cancer campaign in my salon in Carmel, IN This weekend we are doing a fundraiser that we have named Pinkpaulzza. We will have Radio Disney, mini camps, face painting & many things for the kids. The St Vincent Mobile Mammogram Van & High Risk Assessment Program will be there as well The Pink Ribbon Connection, Susan G. Komen, Weekend to End Cancer & IWIN. We are doing many raffles & thought you might be able to donate something for the cause. If we can't have it before Sunday then maybe we could have it to auction at a special event. Let me know if you are interested. Hang in there. It sucks but you WILL come out on the other side. I will be walking 40 miles in the weekendtoendcancer & will include you in my group that I am walking for. You will be in our thoughts & prayrs. I am an 8 year survivor. He will get his last treatment July 21 st. the day we get back from the British Open. Matthew was granted a wish , through the Make-A-Wish to go to the British Open and follow his favorite player "Phil Mickelson". What a bitter sweet feeling we will all have being at Turnberry. There is nothing more important than YOUR family. Being there for your wife, husband son, daughter......that's important in life. Phil, you will be where you need to be. Amy, My wish for you is that your dreams stay BIG and your worries small. Matthew's hold true words throughout his battle was "Impossible is Nothing".
