It is Phil’s 38th birthday today, one day after he finished this year’s US Open in a tie for 18th.
From Phil’s perspective it was a weird tournament and I hope that he can use today to forget a bit about the strange things that happened out there and just have fun with his family.

I am in London Ontario in Canada. Firstly congratulations on your 40th birthday. Then we were glued to the TV all weekend watching and routing for you and you came through big time! Our thoughts are with you and your family and wish both your Mother and Amy continued good recovery. I am old enough to be your grandmother so consider the above extremely sincere.
