  • Phil,

You have a great game. I just wanted to pass an idea to you. I played my best golf when I used skipping rope for timing and hand eye cooridnation. It was something I used as a training technique.

  • Dear Phil,

I have been such a great fan of yours for years. Our beloved son, David, was also a fan. When David and his friends would go golfing his friends would call him “Phil” because he looked so much like you. You have the same expressions as David did and beautiful smile! I am always rooting for you and hope I can catch one of your tournaments around our area some day. Keep up the great work and professionalism Phil, you are a true asset to the game of golf!!

  • Hi Chris,
thanks for the info, has been corrected.

  • I love Phil — more than his great golf game, I love how he was a rock & supported his wife during her fight against cancer. While “some” golfers are less than “true blue” & wear red on Sundays, I think Phil should embrace the strength he gets from his family & wear blue on Sundays because he’s true blue!

I watched one swing with Butch today and observed you moving your head off the ball as you swing. Could contribute to pushing the ball to the left, especially with the Driver. I am frustrated for you; makes me crazy to see you toss the strokes away with just a few shots.
Best wishes to you and all your family.

I think you were playing your best golf before you started getting more instructions from any instructor. All instructors have different ideas and can only confuse your play of golf.

Thanks Phil for a wonderful Masters. You were just great. We hope that you continue to play well.

  • Dear Phil.
I’m your fan. Thanks Phil for a wonderful Masters.
First, Let me introduce myself. I am Koearn live in China, Shanghai.
My english avility is not so good. But to supported my favorite golfer, I send this letter.
Few month ago, I Started Golf. I’m still unaccustomed to golf.
Actually, I’m a left handed person. But, in shanghai left handed clup is scarce. How many times spent to buy a left handed clup.
First time, I unavoidably accepted my coach’s opinion. He said,
“Left handed clup so inconvenience. clup is very rare, to left
handed person a golf practice range is very rare in shanghai.
so, I recommend right handed clup.”
I train right handed clup for a while. But, I realized my mistake.
Lately, I will buy a left handed clup. But, it is very difficult.
I Like golf. but I have not enough money to buy goog clup.
I’d like to you give me a worn-out left handed clup. If you give
me a chance, I shall never forget your kindness as long as I live.
I throughout my life, I will keep your present.
Maybe you think “I’m just a goofy foreign kid.”
But, I’m very happy. Because I can send a letter to my role model.
I will wait your news. God bless to you.

  • Hi Phil!
Happy big 40! You’re at your best and your game speaks for itself! You have many, many fans here in Vegas! We’d love to see you in Mid-October after the Ryder Cup! How’s about coming in for the J. Timberlake event? Something to think about…………..

Anyway - enjoy your days at Pebble! And no matter the outcome, you are always number one to us! Give our best to Amy and all the kids!
